Vashon Island boasts many restaurants, shops, and activities. Yet, at its core, Vashon is quite rural. We recommend staying on the island for the wedding weekend so you can celebrate with us past the last ferry departure.

STAY

Enjoy the nature that Vashon offers with many unique VRBO & Airbnb options available.

TRANSPORTATION

AIRPLANE

Fly into SEA (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport).

FERRY BOAT

No roads lead to Vashon, so you’ll need to take a ferry to the island. From Seattle, catch the ferry to Vashon at the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal in West Seattle. Catch the Point Defiance Tahlequah Ferry if you’re coming from Tacoma.

AUTOMOBILE

You can visit by car, bike, or on foot (though having a car to explore Vashon is the most practical option).

DIRECTIONS TO VASHON FIELD & POND

The venue address is 4025 SW Pt. Robinson Road. YOUR MAP APP WILL NOT GET YOU TO THE CORRECT LOCATION, so please follow these directions when you get to Pt. Robinson Road:

DO NOT turn into 43rd Ave. SW under any circumstances.

  • Follow Pt. Robinson Road to the intersection at the bottom of the hill. Turn right.

  • The 4025 driveway is the first one on your right. There is a silver farm gate (which is likely already open, but if not, you can open it). It is a long, straight, grassy, tree-lined road.

  • Park at the end in the field, on the forest side (not out by the bluff).

  • Walk to your right as you face the water, past the gully and into the field with the pond. The ceremony field is there.

Deliveries can drive into the field by the pond to unload and then move cars to the parking area afterward.

If you are meeting people in one of the cottages, please leave your car in the parking area and walk. (If you have things to unload that can’t be carried easily, call Lisa at 206.498.4359 for driving directions.)
